NCCP Multi-Sport Module Calendar

National Coaches Week: September 16-24

It is a time to celebrate the positive impact coaches have on athletes and their communities across Canada.   To celebrate National Coaches Week and to show appreciation for Alberta coaches, the Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation Branch is discounting NCCP multi-sport and core training modules offered in September.  Registration is now open for Alberta coaches.   

FREE* IN PERSON NCCP Multi-Sport Modules: As part of the Coaching Association of Canada's National Mental Health and Sport Project, in person NCCP multi-sport modules focused on the topic of mental health, will be offered at no cost throughout September. 

Free in person modules include: Make Ethical Decisions, Planning a Practice, Basic Mental Skills and Teaching & Learning and will be available in Calgary, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Lethbridge, and Red Deer.  *A registration deposit will be collected and refunded upon attendance confirmation.

COURSE CONFIRMATIONS: Registered coaches will receive a separate email with a confirmation letter (containing the online zoom link) and electronic course materials 2-5 business days prior to the course.  Watch for this email coming from a @gov.ab.ca address being sent to your email address listed on your Locker profile.  If you believe you have not received this email, check your junk folder first, then inquire at [email protected] during regular business hours (M-F 8:15am - 4:30pm).  Emails are not checked outside of business hours and will not be responded to.
