Team Alberta North wins 10 Ulus on day one of competition

Snowboard athlete Miah Gillis of Grande Prairie and snowshoeing athlete Kehlan Duncan of Grande Prairie stood on the top of the podium today to earn Team Alberta North 2 gold Ulu's. Alberta athletes went on to win 8 more Ulus - 3 Silver and 5 Bronze. Action continues today. Good luck to everyone.

Alberta Athletes wins Canada's first gold medal at the 2026 Paralympic Games

Natalie Wilkie, Para biathlon, won the gold medal in women’s individual standing at the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games Wilkie finished with a time of 33:01.8, more than 30 seconds ahead of China’s Zhao Zhiqing It is Wilkie’s fourth career Paralympic gold medal.
