The draft technical package listed under each icon contain the sport rules, competitive categories and the age eligibility for each sport. If you have any questions around these rules please contact your Provincial Sport Organization directly.
All athletes must qualify for the 2026 Alberta Winter Games through a zone selection process for their sport. Zone playoffs for each sport will begin in Fall 2026. Check out what zone you live in.
The 2026 Alberta Winter Games will take place in Lakeland County in February 13-16, 2026.
