Major Sport Event Grant
The grant is closed and is not accepting applications at this time.
The Major Sport Event (MSE) grant program has been transitioned to the Tourism and Sport Ministry, as it aligns more closely with their responsibilities. The Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation (SPAR) branch will be responsible for administering this grant.
The MSE program provides financial assistance to enhance the capacity of organizations in their pursuit of, planning for, and hosting of national and international and sport events that support the social and economic well-being of Albertans and the host communities.
The MSE guidelines and application are currently being revised and will be posted once they are completed.
