Dropping in the SuperPipe at WinSport Canada, Team Alberta dominated the event winning a total of three of six medals awarded. Kamilla Kozuback, 14, of Calgary, AB won the women’s contest thanks to a clean second run, scoring 90.0 points. Teammate Kianah Hyatt-Sikora, 16 of Calgary, AB won the bronze medal with a first-run score of 67.6 points. Liam Gill, 15, of Calgary, AB won the gold medal in the men’s halfpipe contest, thanks to a huge second run judged at 94.0 points. The high score was just over eight points ahead of the silver medallist form Ontario. Alberta placed five of its riders in the Top-10 of the event.
