The Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act requires the public disclosure of compensation for employees of agencies, boards and commissions, over a certain threshold for every calendar year starting with 2015. The legislation requires that the employee’s name and compensation be disclosed publicly.

Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act – Disclosure of Board Member Honoraria
The Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act requires the public disclosure of any compensation (board honoraria) paid to each Board Member for every calendar year starting with 2015. The legislation requires that the board member’s name and compensation be disclosed publicly. Below are the ASC board member honoraria paid:

Salary Disclosure
*Compensation – Board Members are volunteers that are appointed by Order in Council and do not receive a regular salary. Board Members receive honoraria payment for attending meetings and events as well as travel time.
*Other – Includes benefits and any other monetary remuneration that is not included in compensation
*Severance – Board Members are not eligible to receive severance.
