Games Information

Information on what sports will be included in the Alberta Masters Games will be available September 2018.

Full information packages containing sport technical information, accommodation options, social functions and host community facilities and attractions will be available in early 2019.

On line registration will open in spring 2019 on a first come, first served basis until the capacities of each sport have been met.

The Alberta Masters Games is a provincial multi sport event for participants of eligible ages within the CS4L Active for Life stage. Formally known as the Alberta Senior Masters Games, the newly formatted Alberta Masters Games will see an estimated 1000 participants come from all across Alberta to participate in the four day event.

There will be no qualifying or selection process involved – participants just need to met the required age criteria in their particular sport, with most sports having a minimum age of 30+ to compete.

The Alberta Masters Games will provide many benefits to the hosting community such as an increase in community and volunteer development, and the promotion of the community to visitors from across the province.
