Sports have always been a popular pastime in Airdrie.
From curling, and hockey, to swimming, and boxing, Airdrionians love the sense of comradery, belonging, community spirit, and the accomplishment of working together for the benefit of the team, that comes from our involvement in sports.
Join the Nose Creek Valley Museum as we spotlight a few of our sports artefacts from the games of our past. Relive your youth or find someone you recognize as you study photos of long ago sports teams. Come discover the origins of the games that still mean so much to our community.
This exhibit will open February 4 and will run until April 15th. Don’t miss your chance to visit the sports and teams of the past!
