In honour of Canada’s 150th birthday, we are celebrating 150 Days Out from the 2018 Wood Buffalo Alberta Winter Games! But we aren’t just celebrating it with an average event, we are celebrating it with THE MASCOT GAMES!
Local mascots will compete against each other for amazing prizes and bragging rights. 150 Days Out – The Mascot Games presented by Keyano College and Huskies Athletics takes place at the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre.
Will your favourite Fort McMurray mascot come out on top?
Who will be the champion of all local mascots?
Which mascot will take home the prize for the biggest cheering section?

– Gifts and giveaways for the audience
– A fun time for the ALL AGES
– Free popcorn and souvenirs
– Information on volunteering for the 2018 Wood Buffalo Alberta Winter Games
– Halftime performance from local dancers
– Mascots from community groups and schools
150 Days Out – The Mascot Games also marks the launch of our volunteer recruitment campaign.
