The executive of the Lethbridge 2020 Alberta Summer Games Society has elected to  postpone the games until summer 2021.This decision was made after careful consideration of the current state of Covid-19 in the province and the likelihood of being able to safely host the Lethbridge 2020 Alberta Summer Games.

UPDATE: The 2021 Alberta Summer Games will take place July 22-25,2021

The 2021 Alberta Summer Games will have athletes from all across the province attending. Ages ranging from 11 to 17 years old, representing 14 different sports. The shear amount of volunteers needed to make this event a success is a challenge the City of Lethbridge accepts! With over 3,000 athletes, their friends, and family coming from the 8 different zones across Alberta.

We collectively encourage you to join in on the excitement and Get involved Today

The 2021 Alberta Summer Games would not be possible without the individuals, groups and businesses who donate their time, money and services.  Collectively, they are known as the “Friends of the Games”.  I am encouraging you to accept this invitation to become a “Friend of the Games”. Alberta Summer Games volunteers make a big difference in the lives of our young athletes through their generous contributions of time, skill, and commitment.

The Alberta Games will need over 2000 volunteers to make the 3-day event successful and create a lasting memory for these athletes.

Pick your area to volunteer from the food center, to security to ceremonies; there is a volunteer position for you.

More Volunteer Information will be available soon

Thank you to our current Board of Directors already hard at work to make the games a fantastic experience for all of the athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers and spectators.
