About NCCP

So you want to COACH?

The NCCP is the recognized Canadian standard for coaching training and certification for 66 different sports.

NCCP workshops are designed to meet the needs of all types of coaches, from the first-time coach to the head coach of a national team.Consider enrolling in the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).  NCCP workshops are designed for all types of coaches.

Where do I fit?

The new NCCP model is made up of three streams  each with its own coaching requirements.

Each sport is responsible for identifying how many of the contexts are relevant to their sport. The Coaching Association of Canada has put together a document to help you understand the coaching pathway and multi-sport workshops available to you.
